DeAnna Eason, Executive Director

Executive Director DeAnna Eason has been with HOME since 2000. With a master’s degree in mental health counseling, she began as HOME’s Mobility Counselor and has held a total of five positions during her tenure including: Mobility Counselor, Fair Housing Investigator, and Associate Director of Programs.


Daniel Corbitt, Esq., Associate Director

 Dan Corbitt joined HOME in the summer of 2015 as our fair housing attorney. Before this, he spent eight years with the US Marine Corps, then moved on to study anthropology as an undergraduate. Dan earned his law degree from the University at Buffalo and was first introduced to HOME as an intern during law school.


Nichelle Brown, Senior Counselor

Nichelle is our Senior Fair Housing Counselor.  Her job requires her to be at the forefront of housing counseling to both tenants and landlords who may have some questions or concerns regarding their rights or may just need emotional support. Nichelle came to HOME with vast experience from nonprofit organizations such as Community Action Organization (CAO), Fillmore Leroy Area Residents (FLARE), and Martha Mitchell Community Center. She has an Associate’s degree in humanities and attended Daemen College to pursue her Bachelor’s degree in social work. Nichelle also volunteers at Crisis Services as a crisis counselor helping those in need with emotional and emergency situations. 

Kibrett Facey, Education Specialist

Kibrett Facey is our Education Specialist at HOME. Before assuming this position, she received her B.S. in Communication at Cornell University and spent some time supporting Buffalo’s grassroots economic development as a High Road Fellow. She also worked as a Leadership Executive for the United Way of Buffalo & Erie County. She joined HOME in the fall of 2016. 

Miata Wright, Business Manager

Miata Wright is HOME's Business Manager. She joined HOME in November 2013 as the Administrative Assistant and has been the go-to person for IT issues and special projects. Miata has a B.S. from the University at Buffalo in Aerospace and Mechanical engineering, and she currently serves as Children's Activities Chairperson for Juneteenth Festival and president of her community's block club.

Craig Douglass, Mobility Counselor/Community Housing Center

Reverend Craig W. Douglass has been our mobility counselor for the Community Housing Center since Spring 2015 and works one-on-one with clients who are trying to move to areas of higher opportunity. He is a graduate of Excelsior College of Albany, receiving a B.S. in human resource management. He has also earned a master’s in theological studies from Northeastern Seminary and a master’s in social work from Roberts Wesleyan College. Reverend Douglass has worked as a Social Worker in the Cheektowaga Central School District, and for Jericho Road Community Health Center as a Parent Child Home Program worker.
