For
decades, Housing Opportunities Made Equal could be easily recognized by
its logo of four row houses incorporated with the acronym HOME. Starting
with this issue of Insight, we will be employing our new logo on
all of our publications. Designed by Sassy Design Group, the logo is a
bold new look for a well-established civil rights agency. Though HOME’s
look has changed, what remains the same is the blue and white color scheme
and the commitment to fighting for civil rights.
Membership
Committee Chair Jean Doerr, Esq. calls it “a fresh new look appropriate to
HOME’s next forty years of continued advancement of civil rights in
Western New York.”
To
incorporate the new look into all of our publications, we are currently in
the process of reprinting all of our brochures. The brochure entitled
“Your Right to Fair Housing/ Su Derecho de Vivienda Justa” will include
even more information on how to recognize discrimination and the
importance of reporting it. This new brochure will contribute to HOME’s
superior community education program.
As Mobility
Counselor Kenneth Gholston says, “HOME’s new logo gives us an opportunity
to re-introduce our selves to the community, without compromising the
quality of our services.” |
