This past June, HOME was proud to participate in two celebrations of civil rights.  On June 5^th , HOME staff and volunteers marched in Buffalo’s Pride Parade and then staffed a table at the pride marketplace for the rest of the afternoon.  On June 19^th, HOME marched in the first time in the Juneteenth festival parade.  Thousands of brochures and leaflets were distributed along the parade routes educating onlookers about HOME’s services and commitment to civil rights.  A big thank you to all who volunteered and especially to board members Leah Mervine and Diana Cooke for coordinating HOME’s participation in these important events.
